Zack Lannan
Director of Training
CSCS, XPS, TPI-F2, OnBaseUZack has been with Chadwicks since 2016, bringing over five years of experience training professional athletes. He designs precise, efficient programs that pair structure with effective coaching and communication to help clients reach peak performance. Passionate about continuous learning, Zack stays current on the latest strength and conditioning research to refine his methods. His expertise spans speed, agility, and quickness training; power and strength development; mobility and stability; energy system optimization; and athlete mindset. Whether working with youth or professionals, Zack focuses on identifying each athlete’s current level and mapping the most direct path to elite performance.

Major Tripp
Head Performance Trainer
CSCS, XPSAs Head Performance Coach at Chadwicks, Major brings extensive experience in human health, biomechanics, strength and conditioning, and sport performance. He has coached athletes of all levels—from youth and recreational clients to elite college and professional players—and previously served in multiple coaching roles at Centennial High School and Middle Tennessee University. Dedicated to helping others reach their full potential, Major applies a results-driven, science-based approach to training. Outside of work, he enjoys playing recreational hockey and continually seeks new ways to enhance performance and physical development.

Jonathan “J.J.” Fish
BS, CSCS, CPPS, PN1
Jonathan “J.J.” Fish combines strength and conditioning with fitness training to deliver results-driven programs that address all aspects of health and performance, including sleep, nutrition, training, and mindset. With nearly a decade of experience and a degree in Exercise Science, he works with both elite strength and power athletes and general fitness clients, designing programs that enhance movement, build muscle, increase strength, and optimize recovery.

Mariah Smith
CSCS, NASM-CPT, CES
Mariah, from a military family in Clarksville, Tennessee, is a University of Tennessee–Knoxville graduate and former women’s golf team member with a degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Leadership Studies. She approaches training with an “attitude of gratitude,” believing movement is a gift and that exercise should be both purposeful and enjoyable. Mariah works with athletes, adults aiming to improve body composition, and anyone seeking to stay active, helping clients enhance performance, health, and longevity.

Joe Maniscalco
CSCS, NSCA-CPT, PN1-NC, USATF Level 1
Joe, originally from Chelmsford, Massachusetts, is a Belmont University graduate with a background in exercise science and competitive sprinting. With extensive experience training clients ranging from youth athletes to executives and cancer survivors, he emphasizes strength, mobility, and nutrition to create individualized, goal-driven programs. After overcoming a serious spinal injury in high school to become an All-American sprinter, Joe developed a passion for safe, effective training. His coaching is rooted in that experience—empowering clients to reach their full potential through smart, disciplined, and personalized guidance.

Dalton Clark
ISSA, CFSC, TEC
Dalton, a Kentucky native and former collegiate baseball player, discovered his passion for fitness and performance while working under the University of Louisville’s head strength and conditioning coach. After a stint in firefighting, where he trained his fellow crew members, he realized his true calling was full-time fitness coaching. Relocating to Franklin, Dalton now dedicates himself to helping others achieve their physical, emotional, and spiritual goals, combining his experience as an athlete and coach to deliver effective, results-driven training.

Jillian Spencer

Jillian Spencer is a personal trainer and nutrition coach dedicated to helping clients build healthy habits that enhance overall well-being and daily life. With a degree in Psychology and Family Studies from Towson University, she combines fitness, performance, and psychology to guide clients toward a positive mindset and their best selves. Jillian also coaches middle school track and field and brings the same focus on growth and development to all her training sessions.

Jared has over a decade of experience in fitness and performance, combining expertise in strength and conditioning, massage therapy, and nutrition. He helps clients overcome chronic pain, build strength, lose weight, move pain-free, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Each session is designed to educate and empower individuals, teaching them how to take control of their fitness and understand the role of nutrition in overall health.

Paige Rugaard, a Belmont University graduate with a degree in Exercise Science, brings enthusiasm and energy to every training session. A former All-American cheerleader and Division 1 collegiate athlete, she has experience coaching group fitness classes and enjoys helping clients achieve their personal goals. Paige’s bubbly, encouraging personality and passion for fitness make her dedicated to supporting both the physical and personal growth of those she trains.

With over a decade of experience, Kasper is passionate about helping clients—from beginners to elite athletes—improve their fitness and athletic performance. He has coached a diverse range of individuals to achieve their goals and has also developed large-scale fitness programs for corporate gyms nationwide. Known for his detail-oriented and driven approach, Kasper focuses on science-backed, personalized training to help each client reach their full potential.

Ethan Gillispie
MS, CSCS, NASM-CPT, CFSC
Ethan, originally from Lexington, KY, moved to Nashville in 2018 to study Exercise Science and Kinesiology at Lipscomb University, later earning a Master’s in Exercise Science and Human Performance. A lifelong athlete, he completed an internship with Nashville Soccer Club and is passionate about helping clients view fitness as an investment in both body and mind. Always learning, Ethan incorporates the latest strength and conditioning practices to guide clients toward their goals.

Macy Cohen

Macy, a Liberty University graduate with a degree in Exercise Science and minors in Strength & Conditioning and Psychology, is a former D1 cheerleader with a passion for helping others achieve their goals. She views training as a tool for cultivating discipline that extends beyond the gym and incorporates her knowledge of the human body, strength and conditioning, and psychology to guide clients of all ages. Macy emphasizes the importance of consistent habits to build both physical and mental strength.

Kyrin Johnson

Kyrin “Ice” Johnson, from just outside New Orleans, is a fitness professional with a B.S. in Human Performance & Exercise Physiology. A former competitive baseball player, he specializes in strength, functional training, and mindset development, helping clients build muscle, enhance athletic performance, improve mobility, and boost confidence. Inspired by his own transformation starting at age 14, Kyrin tailors his coaching to each individual, guiding them to break through physical and mental barriers and become their strongest, most capable selves.

Adam, born and raised in middle Tennessee, first connected with Chadwicks as a Sports Performance client. After graduating from Belmont University and spending several years in Southern California, he returned to Chadwicks as an Assistant Manager and Coach. Adam enjoys engaging with clients, and ensuring the gym provides a welcoming, professional, and personalized experience for everyone.

Terri Perry
Account Manager
ACE-CPTTerri first discovered Chadwicks as a client and instantly fell in love with the gym’s culture and mission. In 2009 she joined the team as Front Desk Staff Manager, quickly advanced into training as a Certified Personal Trainer, and has since become a living example of Chadwicks Core Values. She’s an exceptional mentor to the entire staff and now primarily works remotely, overseeing membership operations, billing, and all backend systems with outstanding precision and genuine care.

General Manager
CSCS, FMSAbby Johnson is the General Manager at Chadwicks Fitness, where she drives business growth and builds a professional, results-driven, client-centered culture. With a degree in Exercise Science and over 15 years of coaching and training experience, Abby is a former collegiate volleyball player and coach who also competed in basketball, softball, soccer and track. She is passionate about connecting clients with the best trainers to help them reach their goals, elevating the team, and helping to facilitate a culture rooted in teamwork, excellence, and growth.

Jennifer Wilson
Performance Trainer
MS, ATC, CSCS, SFMA, FMCS, BMSJennifer Wilson brings extensive expertise in athletic training, strength and conditioning, and biomechanics. With a background in health and human performance and kinesiology, she specializes in helping individuals with cardiorespiratory, metabolic, autoimmune, and neuromuscular conditions, as well as those recovering from significant injuries such as amputations. Jennifer works with clients transitioning from physical therapy to independent fitness, focusing on correcting movement dysfunctions, reducing pain, and enhancing coordination, mobility, strength, and overall function.

Carson, from Huntsville, Alabama, holds a B.S. in Exercise Science from Western Kentucky University and has extensive experience training both athletes and general clients. He is passionate about helping individuals improve physically and mentally, creating personalized programs that address each client’s needs and long-term goals. Carson focuses on performance-based training, emphasizing measurable improvements for athletes while fostering trust, motivation, and overall well-being in everyone he coaches.

Strength and Conditioning
Internships
The Chadwicks Internship Program is designed to prepare each participant to enter into a successful career in the field of Sports Performance Training / Strength and Conditioning.
This internship provides individuals with hands-on experience to gain knowledge in exercise physiology, biomechanics, nutrition, sport psychology, and other related topics.
Through this internship, individuals will have the opportunity to work with athletes of all levels alongside elite coaches as well as learn how to properly assess athletes’ physical abilities, develop personalized training plans, and implement strategies to improve overall performance. Interns will learn the basic importance of nutrition for athletes, injury prevention strategies, and how to use technology to track progress. Additionally, they’ll have the chance to observe experienced coaches in action as they work with athletes to help them gain speed & power through functional, purposeful programming with pre and post evaluations.
