Beka is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the American College of Sports Medicine. She has a passion for helping people succeed and leading them to reach their full potential. Beka has over two years of professional experience working with personal training clients and helping them achieve their goals. In addition to her experience with personal training, Beka is passionate about training athletes and helping them to increase their speed and power. Beka will be sitting for her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) exam later this year.
At the beginning of high school, Beka moved from Atlanta, GA to Franklin, TN where she played four years of varsity soccer and two years of varsity track and field at Page High School. She continued her track and field career at East Tennessee State University as a high jumper and 400m sprinter, and earned a BS in Exercise Science. While at ETSU, she interned with the athletic training staff providing care for the football team, on and off the field. She also spent a year working at the Quillen College of Medicine’s Gross Anatomy Lab performing dissections and teaching high schoolers and undergraduate students. Additionally, she worked with the staff of the Olympic Training Site on the ETSU campus and helped implement the Run Jump Throw program from USATF in surrounding elementary schools’ physical education curriculum. Beka’s knowledge, passion, and coaching abilities allow her to connect and relate to clients while helping them to reach their goals and full potential.
