Biography:
J.J. received his B.S. in Exercise Science from Middle Tennessee State University. Over his 7 year career working in the field he has acquired certifications that include NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Certified Physical Preparation Specialist, and Precision Nutrition Certified Nutrition Coach. His passion for training was first discovered in high school and he hasn’t looked back. By combining his experiences in Personal Training, Physical Therapy, and now, as a Strength and Conditioning Coach – J.J. strives to bridge the gap between health, performance, and longevity. He understands that while most people go to the gym for aesthetic goals, there is more to fitness than just building muscle or losing weight – It’s all about the “Deep Health”. With J.J. it’s more than just showing up to the gym for a workout and a good sweat, he aims to educate and empower you by helping you build sustainable life-long habits that allow you to be the strong, healthy, and robust human you are meant to be. He understands that we are all at different stages, so whether you’re new to training or have been training at an elite level, he strives to meet each person at their current state and build on the fundamentals to optimize Health, Build Muscle, Develop Strength, Power, and Mobility. When J.J. isn’t training you will catch him with his wife, Catherine; daughter, Izabella; and dog, Luca.
